About the Opportunity

With operations across Australia, we are now looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our Rivtow Marine Port Hedland team.

  • Residential in Port Hedland, WA (not FIFO)
  • Full time, permanent role
  • Attractive salary, plus bonus incentive scheme, plus residential allowance for eligible candidates

This role will see you:

  • Supporting the Operations team to deliver safe, reliable harbour towage services for our client
  • on the front line of one of the biggest harbour towage operations in the world
  • reinforcing the requirements of the company’s safety management system, at an operational level
  • liaising with our towage partners, port stakeholders and client, to resolve day-to-day operational matters
  • championing continuous improvement projects

You will need:

  • a minimum of seven (7) years experience in the marine industry, with towage/port operations experience highly desirable
  • demonstrable experience in the application of Australian maritime legislation
  • demonstrable understanding of SOLAS Conventions and Codes, including ISM
  • hold, or be able to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
